MED-NET Bylaws

ARTICLE VI: AMENDMENTS 

  1. Amendments on these bylaws may be submitted by a majority vote of the Central MED-NET Board or by a petition to the MED-NET Board signed by not less than ten (10) MED-NET members. 
  2. In order of priority amendments to these bylaws may be decided by: 
  • A two / thirds vote of the Institutional Representatives, or designees, from MED-NET member institutions present and voting at any annual meeting 
  • A letter ballot of the Institutional Representatives, or designees, from MED-NET member institutions. A proposed amendment is approved if two-thirds of the letter ballots received are returned with a favourable vote within 30 days after the letter ballot is mailed 
  • A two / thirds vote of the plenary Task Force 
  1. Amendments to be presented for action at an annual meeting shall be published in the MED-NET Newsletter or circulated to the MED-NET members by mail not less than thirty (30) days prior to the annual Members Assembly.
